Dredging is the most responsible way of removing solids from settling ponds and lagoons. In the past ponds were usually emptied and then excavated of the solids and in turn the ponds would need to be rebuilt and then returned in to service. With using a hydraulic dredge the ponds are kept active while we are cleaning and the sediment can be safely removed while not damaging the lining and integrity of the pond.
